Musette is really, really bored.

Apparently the only reason to go outside, once the newness of being an outside cat has worn off, is to kill things. Now that she can’t kill anything, there isn’t much point. Commence whining and begging me to get out the laser pointer.

Baked the blueberry-muffin recipe from Gluten-Free Baking Classics. OMG, I’m so happy. I might try walnut-chocolate-chip cookies next. I bought dairy-free chips, and vegetable shortening that has no trans-fats. How is this accomplished? As Airplane Adam would say, “That’s nature-cheatin’ voodoo.” At least, I think it was him.

“Nature-cheatin’ voodoo,” I think, was originally from an Alton Brown episode, about making jam and preserves.
